KYLE MCMILLIN

Kyle McMillin brings 15 years of musical instrument experience to the Fender Custom Shop. A loyal Fender employee for 15 years, McMillin just finished a five-year apprenticeship under Principal Master Builder Yuriy Shishkov — working on nearly 1,000 guitars with the esteemed builder. McMillin now joins a team of the world’s finest guitar builders as a Master Builder at the Fender Custom Shop.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

I grew up trying every creative venture I could get my hands on. With parents who supported learning and creativity, this meant I had the opportunity to try many different mediums, from pencil drawing to macrame to pyrography and more.

This love of exploring has stayed with me, and is present in my current season as full-time mama to my three beautiful and wild little kids. Being with them has shaped so much of my work!

My current work is centered around themes of sacred beauty in everyday moments, especially in the natural world. It lights me up to create art that sparks joy, peace, and wonder! It is an anchor for me in an unsettling world, and I hope that it will bring you a moment of light as well. – M.Hanlon

M. Hanlon Art started as Aisling Guitars in 2013, with a dream to help guitar players create their ideal guitars through custom wood burning art. Madeline started by creating the O’Anluain guitar for her husband Sean, as a reflection of his personality and musical style. This guitar set in motion a series of events that became M. Hanlon Art.
