This Charvel Custom Shop San Dimas was designed by Wild West Guitars together with the Charvel Custom Shop, and is available only through us. It delivers a blend of vintage style and modern performance, with thoughtful details for players who like to mod or customize.

The body features a standout Burgundy Mist Metallic finish, paired with a reverse headstock for a bold, custom look. It’s loaded with passive pickups—a DiMarzio Tone Zone in the bridge, and Fender hand-wound Fat 50s single-coils in the middle and neck. A 5-way switch and simple volume/tone control layout give you easy access to a wide range of tones, from crisp cleans to thick, aggressive drive.

The guitar is equipped with the Original Limited 1984 Floyd Rose Tremolo System, built using the original 1984 design specs. This reissue includes brass fine tuners, an old-style housing, a locked-in swing arm, bridge-mounting wood screws, and a fat solid brass sustain block. The top-mount design gives it a vintage feel and strong string-to-body connection, delivering great tone, sustain, and classic Floyd Rose feel.

The maple fingerboard gives the guitar a snappier attack and brighter tone, perfect for cutting through the mix. Jumbo frets and a smooth neck finish make it fast and comfortable to play, while Luminlay side dots help you see your way under stage lights.

Like the rosewood version, this model also includes a battery box on the back of the body—installed on purpose. While the guitar comes with passive electronics, the battery compartment is there for players who may want to add active pickups, a preamp, or other powered mods in the future, without needing to alter the body.
