Introducing the 2025 Masterbuilt edition of the John 5 “Goldie” Telecaster, created exclusively for Wild West Guitars in a limited run of 20 pieces, plus 2 prototypes — one for John 5 himself, and one permanently housed in the Wild West vault.
Masterbuilt by Jason Smith and Austin MacNutt of the Fender Custom Shop, this upgraded version of the original Wild West exclusive Goldie Telecaster blends collectible artistry with stage-ready performance.
Custom Appointments & Unmistakable Style
- Body: Select Alder with cream binding, finished in stunning Frost Gold nitro lacquer for classic visual depth and natural resonance.
- Neck: AA Birdseye Maple with a newly added Kill Switch for aggressive, on-the-fly effects.
- Fingerboard: AAA Rosewood, 12” radius, medium jumbo frets.
- Inlays: Gold mother-of-pearl dot markers, plus the signature custom “⑤” spanning frets 11–13.
High-Output Performance
- Pickups: Dual Fender Enforcer Humbuckers for heavy yet articulate tones.
- Controls: Dual independent volume knobs (neck/bridge), 3-way toggle switch on the upper horn, and the new Kill Switch for performance flair.
