This rare Modern Eagle V was released in celebration of the 2020 Experience PRS event and showcases some of the most forward-thinking design elements PRS has ever offered. Finished in a stunning Charcoal Blue Wrap Burst, this guitar is a collector’s piece and a versatile sonic workhorse all in one.

Overall in excellent condition with only light signs of use. Minor surface scratches and a small chip are present and have been clearly marked in the listing photos. The guitar has been gently played and remains structurally and sonically flawless.

The Modern Eagle V features a unique HSH (hum/single/hum) five-coil pickup configuration and an advanced switching system that provides a wide tonal spectrum. The 5-way blade selector works similarly to the PRS 509, while two mini-toggles allow for coil splitting of the humbuckers into true “TCI-tuned” single coils. A push/pull tone control engages both humbuckers simultaneously, allowing for all three pickups to be active at once. A third mini-toggle adjusts the volume pot from 500k to 250k, shifting the tonal character dramatically.

Only 200 of these guitars were made worldwide—100 in Charcoal and 100 in River Blue—available exclusively through select PRS dealers.
