2006 Fender Custom Shop Masterbuilt Bass VI Built Refinished Modified by Chris Fleming 8.85 lbs
To whom it may concern,
This letter is to establish the provenance of the Fender Masterbuilt Bass VI, Serial# CF596.
I built this bass in the early 2000s, approximately 2004 (2006 according to Fender Custom Shop records, Wild West Guitars). The bass was never sold and remained on display at the Fender Custom Shop as an example until 2020, when I acquired it and modified it with Jazzmaster pickups, a Stratocaster output jack, a five-way switch, and custom wiring.
The instrument was originally finished in three-tone sunburst, but I later refinished it in reliced Olympic White.
This Bass VI is a one-of-a-kind instrument and highly versatile.
I vouch for the authenticity of this bass and its history.
