J-45 Bilwara
A limited edition J-45 with unique Bilwara tonewoodOur iconic J-45, crafted from exotic Bilwara back and sides and dressed in a rare and eye-catching Honeyburst finish. Everything you have come to expect from the world’s iconic round-shouldered dreadnought, with the added tonal characteristics and stunning look of solid Bilwara back and sides mated to a solid Sitka spruce top. The slim tapered mahogany neck is attached with hot hide glue and crowned with gold Grover open back tuners for an added custom touch. Hand-inlaid mother-of-pearl dots finish the rosewood fingerboard and a Gibson block inlay dresses the headstock. A high-quality L.R. Baggs VTC pickup system makes this Limited Edition acoustic ready to plug-and-play.

Unique Tonewood Combination: Select Sitka spruce is paired with the unique and visually striking Bilwara back and sides.

Pickup: The L.R. Baggs VTC is a sleek undersaddle pickup engineered for the highest fidelity, to accurately mirror the guitar’s natural voice.

Custom Finish: The hand-sprayed Honeyburst is a custom finish used on rare Limited Edition models. Each is unique and blends wonderfully to the hues of the Bilwara back and sides.

Tuners: A modern version of a time-tested design. These high-end gold tuners offer a smooth and precise tuning machine.

Inlays: Mother-of-pearl inlay is used in the block Gibson logo on the headstock. Dots dress the fret position markers and also detail the rosewood bridge.

Limited Edition Details: The truss rod cover proudly displays our “Limited” engraving, and there’s a Limited Edition label inside the guitar. A Certificate of Authenticity distinguishes this rare model.

Neck Profile: The mahogany neck is shaped to a comfortable Slim Taper profile, for easy playability anywhere on the neck.

Pickguard: A traditionally shaped teardrop pickguard complements this J-45 Bilwara Tonewood Edition.
