This Gibson Custom Shop 1959 Les Paul Standard is a Dealer Select re-creation of the iconic guitar featured on page 40 of The Beauty of the ’Burst. It features a lightweight mahogany body with a hand‑selected AAA flame maple top and a vintage-style cherry sunburst finish under a subtly aged VOS nitrocellulose lacquer。
It’s built to authentic specs with a ‘59 V1 Carmelita mahogany neck, Indian rosewood fingerboard, aged trapezoid inlays, Kluson-style tuners, ABR‑1 bridge, and aluminum stop‑bar tailpiece. Loaded with Custombucker humbuckers, CTS 500K pots, and paper‑in‑oil caps, it delivers that classic, dynamic 1959 Les Paul tone。
